We are planning to expand the number and types of groups to make it easy for all professionals to find the right group. Right now, the best group to join is on Facebook. Our Green Making group on Facebook includes everyone who is interested in green homes. Log in to your Facebook account and go to http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=39746532955 to access the group. And, of course, we want to get everyone together on Twitter and in person (with Meetup.com).

Thanks, Julie!

Hi Rich,

I hope you will include landscape designers as one of your 'green' professional groups. We are pretty green too!

Thanks,

Rich - great summary of the meeting! You brought up a few points that I didn't cover in my notes. I'm still hoping that Corinne will also chime in with a writeup, since she took copious notes as well!

Thanks for the comments. I haven't had a chance to check out Home Depot, yet, but it's on my list, as well as checking in with Orchard Supply's main office.

Rich - very interesting article! This is the type of information that can help consumers a lot. (As well as builders!). Did you have a chance to check out the situation at Home Depot? I assume it's similar to Lowe's, but there might be some differences.
